MySpace Internet encounter leads to sexual battery charges for Davie man:
20-year-old Javier Campos of Davie, Florida is said to have met a 13-year-old Fort Lauderdale girl on MySpace. Police say that the girl allowed him to sneak into the house while a friend of hers was there and while her parents were asleep.
Campos allegedly said that he was afraid he would be in trouble because her parents were home and because of her age. But that was after he allegedly had sex with the 13-year-old girl. You should have thought of that before you decided to crawl through her window like a predator. If you can’t go in through the front door like a man then obviously you’re doing something wrong.
And again this is another example of why parents need to check your kids’ online activities and not allow computers in their rooms. Do you really want your daughters having sex with that guy?
While I’m on the subject doesn’t he look like one of those douchebags from The Jersey Shore? Think about that the next time your underage daughter goes online.

18-year-old Omar Ponce Barajas of Oak Harbor, Washington has been charged with having sex, again child rape in my opinion, with a 13-year-old girl that he met on MySpace. Ponce Barajas allegedly communicated with the girl for a year on MySpace so she may have been 12 when Ponce Barajas first approached her.
Ponce Barajas is only looking at 6 to 8 years. I hate to keep repeating myself but why are these child rapists not receiving stiffer sentences? It makes me sick.

31-year-old Alexsa Mirabal of Roy, Utah has been arrested for having sex with two 16-year-old girls after posing as a boy on MySpace in order to lure them.
Mirabal posed as a teen named Alex on MySpace and according to investigators Mirabal put a lot of work into her phony MySpace to make it look like the Myspace of a teen boy.
Mirabal allegedly would reveal herself to her victims as herself before engaging them into a sexual relationship. She is accused of molesting one of the girls for 2 years. One of her other victims is the daughter of a co-worker. Mirabal was busted when the two girls found out about each other.
You can’t say that this is a case of spurned teen lovers since Mirabal allegedly went to great lengths to groom both of these girls. You would think people like this would realize that they have a problem when they go to such lengths to commit illegal sexual activity.

Connellsville man gets 2-4 years for sex with teen:
25-year-old Dean Allen Barnhart of Connellsville, PA was arrested last year for having sex, child rape in my book, for having sex multiple times with a 14-year-old girl that he met through MySpace. The girl’s age was listed publicly on her MySpace but Barnhart told her to keep it on the down low.
In May Barnhart was convicted of aggravated indecent assault, statutory sexual assault, corruption of minors and indecent assault.
He was only sentenced to 2-4 years in prison and 10 years on the sex offender registry.
If you really want to protect the children these sentences need to be made stiffer. And as we all know the sex offender registry does not stop offenders from re-offending.

Teacher facing sex charge accused of meeting girl:
27-year-old Bryan F. Wendt was a middle school teacher in Waukesha, Wisconsin. This past may he was arrested for having sex with a girl that he used to teach. He started having sex (child rape) with the girl when she was 14.
Part of his bail conditions for that offense was for Wendt to have no contact with the victim. Yesterday he was arrested for, you guessed it, having contact with the victim. The pair arranged over MySpace to meet each other.
He told the girl he missed her, and she replied that she missed him and loved him and would be in North Prairie with a friend between 6:30 and 7 p.m. Thursday, the complaint says.
I’ve said it before, teenagers are stupid. They think they know what love is when in reality it’s just hormones. On the other hand Wendt is allegedly an adult. He’s supposed to know better.

I originally posted about Charles Edward Leonard here. He’s the 43-year-old scum who posed as a 19-year-old Australian cancer stricken kid who was in the was in the witness protection program in order to have sex with a 15-year-old York, Pennsylvania girl he met on MySpace.
He was convicted of statutory rape in 2009 but skipped town and was last spotted in a Dallas, Texas homeless shelter.
Not anymore as U.S. Marshals were able to capture him in Michigan. They believe he was there in order to claim another young girl as one of his victims.

43-year-old Charles Edward Leonard of York, Pennsylvania is a scumbag of the highest order.
He is accused of posing as a 19-year-old Australian in the witness protection program and dying of cancer in order to seduce a then 15-year-old girl on MySpace using the aliases of Anaki Leonard and Anaki Basmajiano.
This was a few years ago. The victim is now 17 and realizes how much of a bullcrap story that Leonard was laying down on her. He was even able to pass himself off as a teen to the girl’s mother. He explained his bald spot as part of the chemo treatment.
He was arrested on counts of statutory rape but before he skipped town before he could be sentenced. He was last spotted in a Dallas, TX homeless shelter.
Again why was such an obvious dangerous sexual predator allowed to be out while awaiting sentencing?
These scumbag predators need to be locked up from time of arrest.

He was the 37-year-old guy from Wilmington, Delaware who drove to Allentown, Pa., which is not a short trip, to pick up a 14-year-old girl he met over MySpace and her 12-year-old brother. While back in Delaware Hart and the girl had sex at his place while the boy played video games.
Even though Wilmington is a short trip over the Pa. state line it’s still crossing state lines.
Hart also tried having a friend delete his MySpace account when it was noticed the girl was missing. Anyway, he was sentenced to 10 years in prison for his misdeeds.
The local U.S. Attorney is acting like this is some big feat.
“It is our hope that today’s sentence raises the level of awareness of this danger in the community and serves as a warning to those who choose to engage in this conduct.”
Hart will be 47 when he gets out. Plenty young enough to re-offend. If this is the maximum federal sentence that these scumbags can get than the laws need to be changed.
