Facebook feud led to crash death, Pontiac police say:
Pontiac woman arraigned in fatal crash linked to Facebook argument:
Woman faces murder charge after fatal crash linked to Facebook feud:
23-year-old Torrie Lynn Emery of Pontiac, Michigan has been charged with murder in the vehicular death of 21-year-old Alesha Abernathy and sadly Ms. Abernathy was just an innocent bystander.
Emery was having a Facebook feud with 20-year-old Danielle Booth. Allegedly Emery saw Ms. Booth riding in a car that Ms. Abernathy was driving and began to ram the car with hers. Out of fear for her life this caused Ms. Abernathy to flee in her car which caused her to run a red light. The car Ms. Abernathy was driving was then violently hit by a dump truck. Ms. Abernathy was killed and Ms. Booth was critically injured. Emery also had her 3-year-old daughter in the back seat of the car.
And why did all this death and mayhem take place? They were arguing over a man on Facebook.
How many times do I have to say this that there is no man or woman alive worth killing over. Hell, there aren’t many worth ramming another car over. And sure as shit there’s none worth risking your child’s life over.
Now more than likely this 3-year-old girl will only see her mother in prison all because of something so petty and immature.
Grow up people.

Mich. woman gets prison sentence for sex with son:
36-year-old Aimee Sword of Waterford Township, Michigan was sentenced to 9-30 years for having sex with her son that she gave up for adoption.
Sword used Facebook to track down her son who was 14 at the time they had sex. Or as I like to say the time that Sword raped her own son.
She should consider herself damn lucky she didn’t have any flipper kids.

Eastpointe teen sentenced in Facebook sex case:
I originally posted about Michael Thomas Robinson here. He was the teen from Eastpointe, Michigan who was arrested for befriending a girl on Facebook then later breaking into her home to rape her.
Yesterday he was sentenced to 1-15 years behind bars after the charges were lowered to felony home invasion and second-degree criminal sexual conduct.
Robinson told Judge Don Miller he wanted to “apologize for my actions,” just before the sentence was handed down for what Miller described as a “very serious crime.”
I would lay odds that the only reason he’s sorry is because he got caught.

FBI: Mich. man planned assault, drove to Ohio:
The man from Ann Arbor, Michigan who allegedly sexually assaulted two girls from Xenia, Ohio has been captured by the FBI.
Church music director 32-year-old David Zobel of Ann Arbor has been charged with the assault.
Authorities found a camera containing sexually explicit images of the girls at Zobel’s house.
Of course Zoebel denies the charge. I’m sure the camera just magically appeared in his house.

Police say girls forced to perform sex acts:
Police in Toledo, Ohio and Ann Arbor,, Michigan are looking for a 30-year-old suspect who they believe sexually assaulted two girls,, ages 12 and 13, from Xenia,, Ohio.
They met the man over MySpace and he told them he could help them run away. He allegedly drove from Ann Arbor to Xenia to pick up the girls then took them to Toledo.
It was there in a parking garage where he allegedly forced the girls to let him take nude pictures of them and forced them to perform sex acts on them before he would let them go.
Let’s hear from the Toledo PD.
“It should scare parents. They should be aware. It’s a parental responsibility to know what your kids are doing in your house, especially when they’re 12 and 13 years old on the Internet,” WTOL quoted Toledo Police Sergeant Sam Harris as saying.
Why don’t you get it by now parents?

MySpace account led to fugitive’s arrest:
29-year-old Maria Chase was on the run from the state of Michigan for violating her parole on check fraud and larceny charges. Those charges must have been pretty bad because she was on Michigan’s most wanted list. So you would think that someone who was a most wanted fugitive from the law would keep a low profile. Not Chase, she was tripped up because she kept checking her MySpace. Police and the U.S. Marshals were able to track her down in Columbus Ohio where she was arrested.

Police: ‘MySpace’ Helps Catch Thief:
21-year-old Robert Grosch of Ferndale, Michigan was so proud of his 2003 Kawasaki motorcycle that he posted pics of it on his MySpace. Except the bike wasn’t really his and the police were actively looking for it. They had suspected he stole the motorcycle and he basically signed his own arrest warrant by posting the pics.
For that act of criminal genius you’ve been awarded…

I get the feeling that the collective foot of police are going to make his ass gone in 60 seconds.

Police Investigate Alleged Facebook Rape:
Police in Southfield, Michigan are saying that they are investigating an allegation of rape that may be connected to Facebook.
Police said the alleged rape took place when a 19-year-old woman invited a 20-year-old man over after they met on the popular networking Web site Facebook.com.
No additional details have been released. If this allegation has any merit to it as far as I can remember this may be the first sexual assault connected to Facebook. If it’s not the first there have been a lot fewer instances of it then there has been on MySpace.

Police: Man Lured Minor From MySpace:
Surprised looking dude over there is 26-year-old Douglas Brian Wall of Ferndale, Michigan. He’s in jail for having sex with a 15-year-old girl that he lured to his house via MySpace. He’s also accused of supplying drugs and alcohol to minors. A regular pillar of the community this guy is.
A parent tipped off police shortly before midnight on New Year’s Eve. The parent said he discovered his minor children had been at Wall’s home.
A search of his home turned up marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
The investigation also revealed that Wall had sex with a 15-year-old girl from “a nearby city” several times over a two-month period. Police said other juveniles, some as young as 14, were in the house during the encounters, drinking and using drugs.
I wonder how many parents were totally unaware to their kid’s behavior. All it takes is a little check up on their computer.
Mr. Hall here however just may possibly be the absolute least productive member to society and deserves to be thrown in a hole for an awfully long time.
