Aussie predator pleads guilty to MySpace rapes

25-year-old John Raymond Zimmerman of Melbourne, Australia has pleaded guilty to using MySpace to lure 5 girls into having sex with him. At least some of the girls are said to have been underage but their ages can not be reported in Australia.

Look at what he has all pleaded guilty to…

John Raymond Zimmerman, 25, has pleaded guilty to 26 sex crimes including three counts of rape and nine counts of sexually penetrating a child under 16 and three counts of using a carriage service to procure a child for sex.

He also pleaded guilty to four counts of indecent assault, a single count of procuring a child for the making of child pornography, two counts of possessing child pornography, three counts of stalking and a single count of inviting a child under 18 to make child pornography.

The articles don’t say but how much time do you think he will get for the multitude of charges against him? I’m guessing under 5 years. That’s not an indictment against Australia but against the Western courts at large.

Teacher indicted on 35 sex counts

Urbana teacher faces 35 charges:

43-year-old James Zaborowski is a teacher from Urbana City Schools in Urbana, Ohio. He’s been indicted on 35 counts of child porn and solicitation charges.

• 13 counts of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material or performance.

• 13 counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor.

• Four counts of pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor.

• Two counts of importuning.

• Two counts of possession of criminal tools and one count of tampering with evidence.

Zaborowski was first found out when a parent noticed that her daughter had received MySpace messages from Zaborowski that included improper material. The investigation revealed that he also allegedly had child porn on his computer. Two students have also come forward that he had inappropriate contact with them.

He had been a teacher with the district for 16 years so who knows how many other victims he may have had.

Kevin Ricks’ career as teacher, tutor shows pattern of abuse that goes back decades:

50-year-old Kevin Garfield Ricks was a teacher at Osbourn High School in Manassas, Virginia. He was arrested for and pleaded guilty to molesting a 16-year-old student from the school. Age of consent in Virginia is 18.

It turns out that Ricks has left a trail of victims all over the world for the past 30 years. Not only did Ricks keep a journal of his ‘conquests’ he also kept mementos of hos various victims which included sex toys, soiled tissues and hair trimmings. Ick.

He also had a trove of homemade child porn.

In the most recent case that finally got him arrested, which seems to be his MO, he supplied a 16-year-old male student of the school with copious amounts of tequila before molesting the child. How he got caught was that Ricks posted a message on his victim’s Facebook that said “You told me our experience was your first with a guy.” The message was seen by another student who notified police.

The sad part is that he’s only looking at up to 5 years in prison.

Federal law enforcement are still investigating this scumbag so hopefully more charges will be forthcoming.

Something I haven’t done in a very long time is posted a link to someone’s MySpace account. I stopped doing that a while ago after I realized that not only do these criminals have friends who sometimes had no idea what was going on but also their victim could be one of the friends still on the account.

However that doesn’t mean that I want you to stop sending them to me because they can have some useful information on them.

For example take 29-year-old Adam Johnson of Lincoln, Nebraska. He allegedly threatened his 17-year-old girlfriend by saying he would circulate their sex tape if she didn’t give him money.

The age of consent in Nebraska is 17. While the sex may have been legal the act of recording it was not. After he threatened her she went to police who arrested Johnson on child porn charges. But the story doesn’t end there.

When I received this tip I also received a link to Johnson’s MySpace. I had no plans of posting the link but I did find that Johnson, or someone in his place, posted in his status that he’s in jail because the victim ‘snitched on him’ and posted the victim’s name.

I reported the site to MySpace. They’re usually pretty quick in removing the MySpaces of child porn suspects. I also told the tipster to report it to police as that could be construed as witness intimidation.

And while the sex may be legal it’s still creepier than hell for a 29-year-old to be having sex with a 17-year-old.

And is it me or does he look like he’s been crying in his mugshot?

Scottish teacher posed as teen girl on Bebo

Pervert posed as girl on internet to get boys to send him naked pictures:

32-year-old Brian Syme of Craigbank, Sauchie, Alloa, Scotland is accused of posing as a teen girl on Bebo in order to get young boys to send them explicit pics and videos of themselves. This went on between 2006 until December of last year.

Syme would pose as girls named Niki D. and Beth J. and would allegedly send the boys pictures of a naked teen girl then would get them to either send him nude pics of themselves or videos of them masturbating. Police found 283 images and 107 videos. Syme is a teacher and some of his victims were his own students.

To top it all off Syme is said to have told police that he wasn’t a pedophile but just had done it out of curiosity. I think 390 pieces of child porn is more than curiosity.

Again my message to parents here is if you needed yet another reason not to let your underage kids have webcams in their rooms this is it.

No word on possible sentencing but again the UK has a reputation for not sentencing these scumbags as long as they should.

Area man nabbed in Web sting:

Former school maintenance worker Michael McDonough of Buffalo Township, Pennsylvania was arrested by the FBI for trying to get a 15-year-old girl to send him explicit pictures. Of course the 15-year-old girl was actually a member of the Pittsburgh High Tech Crimes Task Force.. 45-year-old McDonough met the ‘girl’ on MyYearbook which if I recall correctly he has no business being on in the first place.

Law enforcement says that McDonough knew the ‘girl’ was underage but that didn’t stop him from soliciting ‘her’.

My bad. I just checked MyYearbook and they now say they’re for all ages. It used to be that they were aimed at school age kids. Still Creepy McJanitor can’t use the ‘She said she was 18′ defense.

Middle-school teacher faces sex charge:

Creepy McFlannel over there is 56-year-old Clifford Holloway, a middle school teacher from Meridian, Mississippi. He’s been arrested for traveling to have sex with an underage girl in Pensacola, Florida. The girl in question was actually an undercover cop.

Police were tipped off when a Pensacola woman found that her 16-year-old daughter had been having inappropriate conversations with Holloway over MySpace. The girl allegedly had sex with Holloway in area motels and the pair had exchanged nude pics.

In case you were wondering Holloway is/was a gym teacher adding to the stereotype.

Landlord in Brooke Bennett case sentenced

Texas man connected to Bennett case sentenced:

58-year-old Kevin Grosenheider was the Texas landlord of Ray Gagnon. Gagnon is the ex-stepfather of 12-year-old Brooke Bennett from Vermont. Brooke was allegedly molested and killed by her uncle Michael Jacques who altered her MySpace page to make it look like she ran away.

Gagnon was summoned to Vermont by Jacques after Brooke’s death. After arriving in Vermont Gagnon instructed Grosenheider to dispose of a safe and a computer that allegedly both contained child porn.

Grosenheider has been sentenced to a year in a Texas prison. Since he aided and abetted a child porn peddler I can imagine that will be 365 days of hell.

Granite City MySpace sex offender gets life plus 10 years:

37-year-old Carl Courtright III from Granite City, Illinois was sentenced to life plus 10 years on charges of child molestation and child porn.

This is the kind of scumbag he is…

Evidence presented at trial revealed that Courtright had caused a local female child to engage in sexually explicit conduct and photographed the activity. He also downloaded pornographic videos and photographs of prepubescent children being raped by adult males.

Courtright is said to be the first sex offender to be convicted after MySpace turned over his information to law enforcement since he was a registered sex offender on the site.

Life plus ten is a welcome change compared to the six months that a man who committed similar crimes in Washington state got.

Did Justin.tv stream child porn?

Justin.tv streams child porn: industry crackdown coming?:

Justin.tv started out as just one man, Justin Kan, who wore a cam on his cap and broadcast his life 24/7. Now it’s one of the biggest live streaming sites if not the biggest.

Now you can add it to the list of sites along with stickam and blogtv where predators roam.

Duncan Riley over at The Inquisitr has received substantial materials that indicate that not only did 13-year-old girls expose themselves on Justin.tv but also they were encouraged to do so by Justin.tv users. No nudity was included with those materials but one only has to read them to know that it happened.

Like stickam and blogtv, Justin.tv relies on users flagging inappropriate use to moderate their live streams.

Mr. Riley supposes that an industry crackdown is on its way. If you ask me it’s been a long time coming and couldn’t come soon enough.

And again this should also serve as a warning to parents that your underage kids do not need webcams and that their computers should always be kept in a place where parents can monitor them.

Parents, you are the last line of defense in protecting your kids from online predators and those predators aren’t necessarily creepy old men. They can be creepy teenagers as well.
