Orlando MySpace rape

Nevermind, she recanted her story. I guess MySpace crime really is on the decline.

ORIGINAL POST

Woman says man she met on MySpace raped her:

We don’t spend as much time together as we used to. It’s not for the lack of will to write. Honestly I think social website related crime is dwindling. Nothing would make me happier than to stop posting stories about MySpace related crimes.

Unfortunately even though these kinds of crimes are on their way down they still rear its ugly head. For example take this story out of Orlando, Florida.

A 21-year-old woman met a 25-year-old guy over MySpace. Apparently they must have hit it off because they began talking by phone and e-mail and she eventually went over to his house. She thought they were going somewhere else after a brief stop at his house. Instead he allegedly raped her in his home.

Guys and ladies be careful when meeting someone from the net for the first time. Always meet in public and always take a friend with you. Let other people know where you’re going too. YOu can’t be too careful. I don’t want to have to write about you.

Movie producer accused of molesting girl he met on MySpace

Producer Allegedly Molested Teen He Met On MySpace:

50 (or 60 depending on your source) year-old ‘movie’ producer Iren Koster was arrested for allegedly molesting a 15-year-old girl he had met over MySpace. I used the word movie in quotes because his resume is rather lackluster.

Between Jan. 1, 2007, and Dec. 31, 2008, he allegedly met with the girl, who had turned 15, on four occasions and engaged in oral copulation with her at her home and in his car, Emami said.

Could you imagine if they had MySpace back in the day of Roman Polanski?

Koster is looking at 5 years and is out on $20K bond.

CSU Student accused of sex assault of middle schooler he met on MySpace

CSU Student Jailed In MySpace Alleged Sex Assault:

24-year-old Muhammed Abdullahy Alsukairi who attends Colorado State University was arrested for sexually assaulting a middle school girl he met through MySpace.

The girl told school officials at Angevine Middle School in Lafayette that she was sexually assaulted while they were parked in his car.

Police set up another meeting and arrested him when he showed up.

What’s the difference between sexual assault and rape anyway. I’ve noticed that the media don’t use that term as much as they should.

Accused Boston craigslist killer has Facebook support group

Markoff supporters put up Facebook website:

Over at CraigsCrimeList the site has blown up recently because of the murder of Julissa Brisman allegedly at the hands of one Philip Markoff.

Even though police allegedly found the gun used to kill Julissa and the panties of several other victims in Markoff’s house it hasn’t stopped people from starting a Facebook support group for Markoff.

The group, called Phil Markoff is Innocent Until Proven Guilty, says that their goal is to rally against the media who is quick to place blame, against the culture that has forgotten that people like Phil are suspects, not killers.

Again the concept from innocent until proven guilty is for courts of law. If I want to call Markoff a killer, which I think he is, then that’s mine and everyone’s right to do so.

Markoff may only be a suspect at this point but so far the evidence is pretty damning.

Also there is a another Facebook group called Phil Markoff is Innocent Until Proven Guilty…Uh…yeah…NOT!!! They sound more like my kind of people.

MySpace kiddie porn peddler flees country

Man Accused Of Using MySpace To Promote Child Porn:

Police from The Colony, Texas are looking for one 24-year-old Jordan Ward. Ward is accused of having posted child porn on his MySpace profile.

According to police records, late last year MySpace.com officials alerted authorities that one of their users uploaded child pornography to their profile. The pornography “depicted nine young girls between the approximate ages of 10 through 13 engaged in… intercourse with an older unknown male,” according to documents.

Ward’s father said that his son is out of the country which leads me to think two things. One, he lived in mom’s basement and two he’s probably in Mexico. I wonder what Mexican prisons do to pedophiles.

Michigan man sentenced for MySpace stalking

Michigan man sentenced in MySpace case:

I originally posted about George Costales here. He was arrested back in November for stalking a California woman after meeting her through MySpace.

For more than 10 months Costales sent a Thousand Oaks woman unwanted e-mails and messages, many of them including sexually explicit language, according to Russell.

Russell said that although the woman told Costales she didn’t want any contact, he told her he was coming to California to find her. He was arrested when he approached her home.

Yesterday he was sentenced to two years in prison where he’ll have to deal with a different type of stalker.

Yet another guy who posted nude pics of his ex on MySpace

Irmo man arrested for cyber crime:

19-year-old Erron Houston of Irmo, SC was given the password to his ex-girlfriend’s MySpace by his ex-girlfriend. Apparently the split didn’t end well because Houston posted pornographic pictures of her on her own MySpace. He also changed the password so she couldn’t remove the pictures. He also posted her cell phone # on her MySpace resulting in a slew of harassing phone calls.

Houston is in jail charged with unlawful communication.

Again ladies, don’t let your significant others hold on to the nude pics. Once they’re out there they’re out there forever.

Fugitive taunts U.S. Marshalls on MySpace

Fugitive taunts Marshals on MySpace:

Diamond Jones, aka ‘Jackboy Musik’, is wanted out of Dayton on burglary charges. So he peacefully turned himself in to authorities. Just kidding. He’s actually taunting U.S. Marshalls on MySpace by rapping about them.

…the self-proclaimed ‘free style’ rapper says in part, “We runnin [sic] from police, the Marshals, man!”

And, as the song goes, “you can’t catch me, you can’t prosecute me.”

There’s nothing like pissing of the federal agency that’s searching for you.

U.S. Marshalls have said they’re making Jones a priority.

Tenn. woman blackmailed by 63-year-old man on MySpace

Woman tells police man threatened to post nude photos of her:

A 28-year-old woman from Murfreesboro, TN hooked up online with what she thought was a 26-year-old guy on MySpace. Turns out it was really a 63-year-old man. When she tried to break contact with him he said he would post explicit photos of her on the internet. He also allegedly threatened to harass her family and workplace So she stayed in communication with him for a little bit more out of fear of retaliation. When she broke off communication with him again social services showed up at her house with a tip that she was taking explicit photos of herself in front of her kids.

No word if any charges have been filed against the man. But ladies/girls once you send naked picws of yourself to whoever they are out there forever. Don’t forget that.

California pimp arrested for recruiting underage girl on MySpace

Alleged Pimp Charged With Recruiting Teen Runaway on MySpace:

That my friends is Christopher Tyrone Young otherwise known as ‘Staydown’. He’s now staying down in jail because he was arrested in San Diego this week for using MySpace to recruit a 17-year-old runaway girl from Florida to be one of his hookers. The FBI believes he may have had more victims. He used the usual line that he could make the girl a star. He convinced her to take a bus to Las Vegas.

Apparently we have to go over this again. No real agent, modeling or otherwise, uses a MySpace and they sure as hell wouldn’t make someone take a bus if they thought they could really make them famous.
