Police Arrest Missing Girl’s Uncle:
The uncle of missing Vermont girl Brooke Bennett has been arrested.
42-year-old Michael Jacques was arrested on sexual assault charges that are not related to Brooke’s disappearance. Police uncovered the assault while investigating Brooke’s disappearance. Jacques is a registered sex offender stemming from a kidnapping and sexual assault from 1993.
To make matters worse Jacques and Brooke were seen on surveillance footage at the mini mart together the day she disappeared.

The RSO registry said he was not longer under supervision but he is treatment compliant whatever that means.
I kept thinking since they found items of Brooke’s clothing nearby the uncle’s house that he might have something to do with her disappearance.
I saw the video of them in the store together but she did not look real comfortable standing there. If you look at the video her arms are crossed in a protective way.
Brooke definitly looked uncomfortable in the video and I don’t think the police would be searching the uncle’s property if they didn’t think he was guilty. I think he is definitly guilty and it will only be a short time before they can prove it.
