Nexopia date rapists sentenced

Rapists will do years in prison:
Back in March I posted about Ali Saadatmandi and Ali Tayyebi, two accused date rapists from British Columbia who used Nexopia to find their victim.

At the time of that post I hoped that they would be put away for a long time. No such luck.

Saadatmandi got only four years while Tayyebi only got three.

I’d like to hear from my Canadian readers. Is this the kind of sentence you think these sexual predators should have received?

Canadian Confederates

Two charged with hate crime:
25-year-old Luke Granados and 21-year-old Russell Granados, both of Ontario, were arrested on hate crime charges.

The pair are accused of placing a black skeleton in a noose with a confederate flag outside of a police officer’s home.

Russell Granados’s Netlog is not surprising with his confederate regalia and his love of pitbulls. Luke Granados removed his Netlog but his MySpace displays his ornate tattoo of a confederate flag.

For those of you who say the confederate flag (or the confederate naval jack if you want to get technical) is about heritage and not hate this is who has co-opted your flag and turned it into a symbol of hate. People like these two racist skinhead white trash punks from Canada.

Last time I checked Ontario wasn’t exactly a confederate stronghold during the U.S. civil war.

Thanks to Dr. Johny Fever for the tips.

House trashed in Bebo/Facebook party

Spanish house trashed after Bebo party:
Jodie Hudson’s parents have a house in Spain worth £4.5 million. Jodie just turned 16. Jodie’s parents said she could have her 16th birthday party in the £4.5 million house. So what does Jodie do to thank her parents? Why she posts an invitation to the party on Bebo and Facebook. What do you think happened next? Why, 400 people showed up and trashed the place of course.

Hundreds of teenagers took her at her word and swamped the venue, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake. An estimated £6,000 of jewelery went missing, clothes were stolen, furniture smashed and a television thrown into the swimming pool.

Ms. Hudson the Younger doesn’t seem to have any remorse…

Writing on her Bebo site, Jodie wrote: “House party was fab, grounded for ever.”

Why have her parents allowed her back on Bebo?

Oh that’s right, filthy rich people probably pay someone else to do the parenting.

UPDATE 7/13/08: In case you haven’t heard by now the infamous party was a hoax.

CT man in trouble for fake MySpace

Judge: New Britain Man Who Created Fake MySpace Page Should Face Trial:
22-year-old Matthew Aiudi of Connecticut tried to get a slap on the wrist for making a fake ‘sexually explicit’ MySpace of a woman he felt ignored him.

Superior Court Judge Joan Alexander rejected Matthew Aiudi’s request for accelerated probation. She said in New Britain that the complicated scheme was “malicious and dangerous” and made the woman fearful for her safety by announcing on the Web page that the woman was interested in casual sex with strangers, especially older men.

Auldi has been charged with second-degree harassment, fifth-degree computer crime and obscenity which he has pleaded not guilty to.

Alex Phillips pleads not guilty

Teen who posted nude photos on MySpace pleads not guilty:
Remember 17-year-old Alex Phillips? He was the kid who said “f*** that” when police asked him to remove nude pics of his 16-year-old ex from his MySpace.

He has pleaded not guilty to charges of possessing child porn, sexual exploitation of a child and defamation.

He’s trying the ‘ignorance of the law’ defense…

Phillips admitted during police questioning he had posted the pictures and a sexually graphic caption to ‘vent’ at the girl and didn’t realize the photographs amounted to child pornography, Yehle said.

Hopefully a judge or jury will say f*** that when it comes to his verdict.

Investigators hope MySpace will shed light on teen's murder

Portsmouth police follow high-tech leads in teen homicide case:
Police in Portsmouth, Virginia and the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) are hoping that records from MySpace will shed some light on the murder of 16-year-old Meghan Landowski.

Meghan’s body was found in her home on April 10th.

Naval investigators want to go through the records at MySpace to see Meghan’s private messages and the like.

NCIS is involved because a Navy man is considered a person of interest.

FL man accused of sex with 12-year-old

Apopka Man Accused Of Having Sex With MySpace Girl, 12:
28-year-old Luis Quinones of Orange County, Florida was arrested this week for having sex with a 12-year-old girl that he met over MySpace.

Again it’s time to remind parents that the minimum age for MySpace is 14.

Anyway, Quinones admitted to having consensual sex with the 12-year-old and is using the ‘she said she was 19′ defense. There is a huge difference between a 19-year-old girl and a 12-year-old girl. If you can’t tell the two apart maybe you shouldn’t be trying to breed in the first place.

The girl admits telling Quinones that she was 19 and that they had sex over 20 times and even skipped school to have sex with him.

I would lay odds that at least somewhere along the way he found out she was 12 and didn’t care. And again the ‘she said she was…’ excuse hasn’t worked in the history of age of consent.

Let’s not forget to ask where was this girl’s parent(s)? But still the ultimate responsibility lies with Quinones.

Facebook pedophile pleads guilty

Man pleads guilty to using Facebook to entice minors:
I originally posted about Michael Macalindong here.

Back in February of 2007 Macalindong was arrested for using Facebook to try and entice a 15-year-old boy to his home for sex. It’s actually way more complicated than that so go read my original post for all the disturbing details.

Yesterday he pleaded guilty to federal child pornography charges.

No word on sentencing yet.

L.A. area predator indicted

Sex Predator Uses MySpace to Lure Teens:
33-year-old Gregory Scott Serrano of Monrovia, California has been indicted for using MySpace to prey on underage girls. He’s accused of having sex or taking explicit photos of at least 10 victims. Authorities believe that there may be even more victims.

He’s been charged with…

…production of child pornography, using the Internet to entice minors to produce child pornography and to meet for sex, receipt of child pornography, possession of child pornography and attempted destruction of evidence.

Serrano was investigated when a 15-year-old victim came forward. It’s alleged that Serrano posed as a 19-year-old on MySpace to lure his victims.

And the cherry on this scumbag sundae?

After his March 12 arrest, Serrano allegedly contacted a family member and asked the relative to retrieve and hide a compact disc stashed inside a rollerblade in Serrano’s basement.

The FBI recovered the disc, who allegedly contained logs of e-mail conversations between Serrano and his victims, as well as child pornography depicting them

I’m sure I’ll still get comments telling me what a great guy he is and how he was framed.

Serrano could get life behind bars.
