MySpace pot busts rolling along in Punta Gorda:
MCS’s favorite police department has done it again.
For you newcomers the Punta Gorda, Florida Police Department is famous around these parts for using MySpace to bust drug dealers and users.
This time it’s 24-year-old Joshua Vuolo. The Punta Gorda PD may have been tipped off to his activities since his user name is JOSHV420.
Vuolo agreed to sell pot to an officer posing as a drug buyer on MySpace.

Some people are just plain stupid. It’s not like this is the first time someone has gotten busted for their myspace content and you’d think that after a while people would stop putting up images which gave law enforcement “probable cause”.
With all the serial killers, rapists, corrupt government officials, starving and needy children in our own cities, who the hell cares if someone smokes or sells pot?
Oh – I know, it is against the law. Do you remember the movie, “Reefer Madness”?
Pot – the gateway drug.
What a bunch of BS and waste of time and taxpayers money.
Thanks for the support MCS, we love being the favorite.

P.S. Hey Laurie, will be looking for your page.
Anytime Officer. You guys rock.
PGPDCIS – I will be sure to leave a trail of donut crumbs to make it easier to find.
Hey guys,
Just thought I would drop you a line, and say “hi”.It’s nice to know that I can help put the hard criminals in jail where they belong-even if it is from a distance. Your welcome.
I love that Myspace is making this happen. LOVE IT. Especially when kids post pics of themselves with guns.
That being said – how are we supposed to get pot anywhere if this keeps happening?
If you think the police are going to take the time to leave a comment here; your all high!!! Get a f’ing clue people.
Are the police busier than the rest of us? Do the police not like to talk about crime? Do the police hate Trench?
Hmm, the connection eludes me.
man people have way too much time on their hands, punta gorda police obviously dont have much crime if they have to go on myspace to collect it, goto a real city like detroit or NY, u think they go online to look for criminals? no they are too busy with real crime in the ‘real’ streets, i doubt punta gorda even has ‘streets’, hence their need to look for crime on myspace, if you can even call selling pot a crime, which it sure as hell shouldn’t be…selling alcohol should be, but we wont even go there
