Charges not dropped for fake MySpace in PA

Judge: MySpace charges stand:
A Pennsylvania Judge refused to dismiss charges against Kevin Andrew Burd. Burd is accused of setting up a racist MySpace under another teen’s name.

Burd has been charged with identity theft, reckless endangerment, harassment and disorderly conduct, and for being an all around assclown. Ok, I made that last part up.

Burd is pointing the finger at his ex saying she had possessionof his laptop at the time. Except…

Police traced the account back to Burd by contacting MySpace. The site was able to tell police that Verizon provided Internet service to the user who set up the page. Verizon traced the account to Burd, police alleged.

D’oh!
