‘Moronic’ behaviour condemned:
It seems that in the land of my ancestors, Ireland, some twenty-somethings have taken it upon themselves to lay on the train tracks and have their friends film it as the train goes over them. Then they’re posting the video on YouTube and Bebo.
Barry Kenny of Iarnród Éireann said the incident was: “Moronic beyond words. It was incredible; the individual could have been so stupid to put himself in such clear danger.”
Mr Kenny said the entire track network in the area is walked twice weekly with continuous observations along it and could ensure there was no danger to commuters in relation to the incident. “The danger was to the individual and not to the commuters,” said Mr Kenny.
I like how they’re looking out for the commuters and not the dumbasses.
