Woman: Blame devil for infant in microwave:
The other day I posted about Joshua Royce Mauldin. He’s the nut job who put his two month old daughter in the microwave. His wife must be as much of a nut job as he is because she’s blaming it on the devil…
A woman blames the devil, and not her husband, for severely burning their infant daughter in a microwave, a Texas television station reported.
Eva Marie Mauldin said Satan compelled her 19-year-old husband, Joshua Royce Mauldin, to microwave their daughter May 10 because the devil disapproved of Joshua’s efforts to become a preacher.
Thanks to Pyrate Steele for the tip.
“Satan saw my husband as a threat,” Eva Mauldin told Houston television station KHOU-TV.Police said Joshua Mauldin told them he put Ana Marie in the microwave because he was under stress. Eva Maudlin denied it.
“He would never do anything to hurt her. He loves her,” she said.
She is hoping to be reunited with her daughter, but Child Protective Services is working to have the parental rights severed.
People who are offended by religion may want to turn away. God forbid I should offend you.
Anyway, speaking as a Christian this is a load of crap. From a psychological standpoint you’re both as crazy as outhouse rats. From a theologic point of view the devil does not make you do anything. He may put the temptation there but ultimately it’s up to you to choose the temptation or not. If the devil was to tempt me to put my 2-month old daughter in a microwave I would definitely resist that temptation.
Bottom line is Mr. Maudlin is nuts and needs to be locked up. Mrs. Maudlin may be equally as nuts.

wow…….what a mess, i can’t believe there is so many people that don’t believe in god anymore or think that you can be moral and not be christain. being moral is following God’s commandments, without those commandments there is no sin and if you don’t believe in
God, why on earth would you follow his commandment??? or be moral?? you can’t be moral without Him, if he withdrew His holy spirit from you, you would be as horrible as the devil himself. it is said in the bible that man can do no good that it’s only His holy spirit that can make us holy, a man’s heart is a cold, dark and evil thing only the light of God’s holy spirit can make us do good, you will see that when the last days come, God will finally take his holy spirit out of the people that constantly reject him and you will see nothing moral comming from them, just evil. i seen that someone saying that what Josh did was too disgusting to forgive, well maybe in our eyes it is, but not in God’s eyes, God said there is only one sin that will not be forgiven and that is blasphmey against the holy spirit, so what makes you too good to forgive something like this when God can forgive it??? I’m not taking up for Josh, but did you even know that even what you call is a “white lie” is as bad as what Josh did to this baby? maybe not in your eyes but in God’s eyes it is, to Him a sin is a sin, doesn’t matter how small, it is still a sin. the sin that Eve did in the garden cost us our lives, it’s because of that why things die and why we all will die at some point, it seemed like a small sin, even to Adam and Eve it seemed small, but it sure did carry a heavy price that we still pay today. what i have to say about Josh is, yes indeed he did a horrible thing, but he doesn’t have to answer to any of us for the things he did, but to God and if he repents then God will forgive him and forget his deed. i would think it is a good idea to keep him in jail so another child won’t suffer such a thing, because if he does this to his own child, heaven knows what he would do to someone else’s child.
God is a fairy tale, like Santa, the Easter Bunny or the tooth fairy. He is an imposing figure meant to force people with no morals to do the right thing for fear of some omnipotent being casting punishment on them if they do wrong. It was a survival method created for people too weak to defend themselves and their possessions, or a coping method to not have to deal with the fact that everyone they loved DIES and are not coming back, and the same goes for them too.The only difference between these mythical creations of Man’s vivid imagination is that no one ever had the decency to finally admit they made that crap about God up when you got old enough.
And if being moral is “following God™’s commandments” then where is “thou shalt not place thine baby into a device that will caste burns hither upon its flesh and mangle it upon rendership” in the bible?? Morality is not a solid thing, it is considered immoral to sleep with a child, marry more than one person, sleep with a family member here in America, in some other countries, those are SURVIVAL methods for entire tribes. I don’t see how smoking pot is wrong, and neither does Switzerland, parts of Spain, the Netherlands, but here in America it costs you your freedom. In China, they execute drug offenders, I don’t find that morally acceptable. “Thou Shalt not Kill” So in essence, all of China must be going to hell. But wait, that is a politically incorrect statement. Is it morally acceptable to condemn a Peoples in their entirety? Morality is an issue you can debate into infinity, and somehow I don’t see God™ stepping in during that debate to clarify for us. Start thinking for yourself, you know what is right and what is wrong without some medieval writer with syphilis pretending to speak for God™ telling you what you need to do.
it’s amazing to me that a little girl being abused causes people to fight about god! … obviously the people involved in that debate are selfish beyond belief! … the issue here is about a girl who was intentionally put in harms way by the people who were supposed to protect her! … this has nothing to do with god, satan, or mutants! … this energy could surely be redirected towards this baby who would benefit from so many people fighting for her … not fighting each other!
felicia..
you have no idea what you are talking about. everything in this universe is controlled by our Heavenly Father/
So it’s better for everyone to fight over religion than trying to determine the best course of action for this poor child? Yeah, that makes sense…
