USM student arrested for threats on MySpace:
25-year-old Southern Miss student Yuri Wainwright was arrested for posting threats on MySpace. He lists two infamous historical killers, Leopold and Loeb, as his heroes and says that if a movie doesn’t make him horny or homicidal it’s not a good movie. Personally I just think he’s one of those “internet tough guys” who shot his mouth off at the wrong time.

Yuri was arrested and currently has 1 million in bail, but currently remains in jail. Supposedly his threats weren’t only on myspace but also an alleged hit list that made the police jump into action in addition to weapons. Even if he wasn’t going to do anything for everyone else’s safety and his own I’m glad the right people took action when they did. As a USM student, I think we all just wish we knew more.
