Woman steals baby formula to sell on craigslist
Mother charged with stealing baby items to sell on Internet:
We have another Mother of the Year candidate here.
It seems that one Kamara Christine Vasilakos allegedly left he 8-month old baby home alone while she tried to steal $620 of baby formula from a Target store so she could sell the stolen formula on craigslist.
On March 25, Redwood City police arrested Vasilakos at the Target store in Redwood City after she was reportedly caught stealing $620 worth of baby formula. Vasilakos reportedly told the officer her baby was at home with a relative but a welfare check turned up the infant alone and crying in its crib.
Police reported that Vasilakos left the child and headed to Target shortly after her husband left home for softball practice. The officer also told prosecutors Vasilakos was on a binge of stealing baby formula and diapers to sell on the Internet site Craigslist. Vasilakos’ ad was found on the site, according to the District Attorney’s Office.
One of the more unusual stolen goods I’ve read about being offered on craigslist. Still waiting to hear about that kidney.

Jeeze, I know being a single mom is tough, but leaving the baby at home to shoplift is pretty skeezie.
