Pics allegedly show cops, under-21 females, drinking:
EXETER Borough officials are looking into photos that surfaced on the Internet that allegedly show a current and former borough police officer consuming alcohol with underage females.
Some of the photos, posted on the popular Internet site MySpace.com, depict part-time officer Joseph DeMark and former officer Dion Fernandes standing with several women, all of whom are allegedly underage, holding large red cups commonly used at beer-keg parties.
In another photo, DeMark, who was also under the legal drinking age of 21, is seen sitting on a couch with a woman, with several bottles of liquor and a can of beer on a table in front of them. DeMark also is depicted in a poolside photo with Sgt. Leonard Galli in which both men are holding cups that contain an orange beverage and swizzle stick.
The photos were obtained by attorney Barry Dyller as part of a federal civil-rights lawsuit he filed on behalf of William Slavoski, a U.S. Secret Service Agent who alleges Galli and Fernandes unlawfully arrested him because he had questioned their handling of an underage-drinking investigation involving his son.
It’s sad when law enforcement agencies get into a pissing match.

Boy Rescued in Georgia After Text-Messaging Family in Massachusetts:
HOGANSVILLE, Ga. – A man was arrested after a 17-year-old Cape Cod boy he met on MySpace.com sent a text message to his family back home claiming he was being held against his will on the man’s west Georgia farm, police said.
Ted Roy Williams, 58, was arrested Thursday and being held on charges of aggravated sodomy and false imprisonment, Troup County Sheriff’s Lt. Rick Massie said. A judge set his bond Friday at $1 million.
Williams met the boy, from Bourne, Mass., on the online networking site and convinced the teen to visit him in Georgia, Massie said. He bought a plane ticket for the boy and picked him up at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport on Thursday morning, and then took the teen to his rural home and began sexually abusing him, Massie said.
When the boy was left unattended after several hours in the home, he was able to send a text message from his cell phone to his family, asking for help and giving the address of his location, Massie said. The family told local police, who notified Troup County authorities.
I was unable to find Williams’ MySpace so if anyone has it please feel free to post it in the commets.
Thanks to Angie for the tip.

Police: Taggers Caught Through MySpace Pages:
It only takes one idiot to topple a criminal empire. Not that these dumbasses were close or anything
(CBS 42) AUSTIN Austin police have arrested four high school students for painting graffiti on more than 200 homes, businesses and public buildings in Austin. Investigators say they found them by looking up their “tags” on the social networking site MySpace.com.
A business owner on South Lamar told police of seeing the tags “Gimix,” “Scope,” “Zenac” and “Radar” in his neighborhood.
Police entered the tags into a MySpace.com search page, and found a profile based in Austin under the moniker “Gimix.” It led them to a 16-year-old Travis High School student’s profile page with photos of tags and graffiti, a picture of a teenager standing next to a stack of spraypaint cans and which was playing a rap song with lyrics glorifying tagging and graffiti.
Police contacted the boy’s mother and questioned the boy, who admitted to doing the graffiti, and led investigators to three others using the Scope, Zenac and Radar tags.
Chaz Armijo, 17, Sean Yates, 17, and Ian Graham, 19, are in custody, charged with Graffiti, a state jail felony. Police have also detained the 16-year-old.
And here we have the MySpace for the weakest link “Gimix”. And yes he did indeed post his handiwork on his MySpace

Dumbasses.

Student Uses MySpace To Threaten Another Student:
The identities of the two eighth-grade girls will not be released, but their actions will be detailed to serve as a reminder to parents of the dangers of MySpace.com.
Brandi Shamie doesnt understand why the other students at Livonias Emerson Middle School dont see the kind of person her daughter Kaytlyn is.
Shes energetic and vibrant and likes cheerleading, said Shamie of her daughter.
According to Shamie, her daughter has been bullied both verbally and physically at school, and over the weekend, Shamie said she found pictures of her daughter on the Internet with dangerous messages posted alongside.
Katylyn didn’t know she was getting her picture taken she just happened to be in the way and they posted that on the internet under the MySpace and put ya know that they could shoot her and it alarmed me, said Shamie.
Shamie wasted no time and contacted Livonia police, who are now actively investigating.
The girl who posted the picture was suspended from the schools cheerleading squad. In addition to the girl posting the photo and writing messages, other kids logged on to view the image and wrote messages of their own, Local 4 reported.
A cheerleader. Go figure.
Police warn parents to be sure they know what children are posting on MySpace.com.
Ya think?

K brings us a strange one today
Women Arrested After Bizarre Sex Sting:
SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) – A police sting took an odd turn when an officer pretending to be a john met a suspected prostitute pretending to be an officer.
Police spokesman Sgt. Tom Connellan said here’s what happened Thursday:
A male undercover officer driving in a neighborhood known for prostitution was flagged down by a woman. The woman got in his car and they went to a nearby parking lot to negotiate a price for sex.
She asked the officer if he was a cop and he said no.
“That’s OK, because I am,” the woman said as she pulled out handcuffs and a two-way radio. She barked into the radio: “Move in!”
The officer, concerned the woman was armed and looking to rob him, forced her from the car. Moments later, officers who had been monitoring the situation arrived and grabbed Greene and her radio.
A male officer pretending to be female used the radio to find out who was on the other end. That person was waiting in a car in a nearby alley.
Police charged Lisa Greene, 31, with first-degree criminal impersonation, prostitution and fifth-degree conspiracy. Elena Irwin, 20, was charged with fifth-degree conspiracy and possession of a hypodermic needle.
“We believe these people were going to rob people or extort money,” Connellan said.
And thanks to K we have the MySpace of Elena Irwin. I wonder if they advertised on craigslsit.

Student in the doghouse after MySpace death threat:
I wasn’t going to post anything about this because I didn’t want to give an attention whore anymore attention. I thought it was some asshat college assignment gone wrong until I found out that it was not part of the assignment
A student at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) is being investigated after death threats against the pet dog of one of the university’s professors were posted on MySpace.
The scandal appears to have been caused by an advertising class assignment that went awry.
VCU said in a statement that the postings followed an assignment to a Adcenter Creative Thinking class that instructed students to make the professor’s dog, Oscar, famous.
However, the written instructions clearly stated that “you cannot harm my dog in any way. You cannot kill my dog. And your idea cannot hinge upon either.”
But one student appears to have ignored the instructions as the death threats posted on MySpace were traced back to a school computer.
The ploy worked as animal activists around the globe called the university and local police to report the threat. The story has also made newspapers and websites worldwide.
No criminal charges are being filed but the student may be expelled.
The way I came across this was a commenter left a link to the MySpace and question and said that this needs to be reported. So I clicked on the link and all it said was that someone was going to sacrifice a pug named Oscar by a certain date. It reeked of hoax but I reported it to MySpace just in case.
But it does go to show how many gullible people there are.

Principal Sues Students Over MySpace Pictures:
A vice principal from a San Antonio school is suing some of her students for making a derogatory MySpace about her but it doesn’t end there…
A fake web page on the website, myspace.com, has some Northside ISD students in legal trouble, News 4 WOAI learned Wednesday. The teens are accused of using the site to spread malicious rumors about their vice principal.
The vice principal is taking the students to court, News 4 WOAI learned.
On Clark High School’s web page, a picture of Assistant Principal Anna Draker has been removed. According to Drakers attorney, a couple of students doctored her pictures and posted them on myspace.com.
The civil lawsuit claims a couple of students who Draker disciplined retaliated by filing the myspace page. The web page was filled with lewd, defamatory and obscene comments, pictures and graphics, according to the suit.
The students even attacked the assistant principal’s sexuality by posting false rumors, Drakers attorney said. The suit claims Draker has been harassed by others accessing the web page.
Assistant Principal Draker is also suing the students parents, suggesting they have a duty to supervise the teens, according to court papers.
Rock on Assistant Principal Draker. I don’t know if a lawsuit is how I would have handled it but props to you for calling the parents out on the carpet. Just maybe, it will send a message to some parents to be vigilant of their kids’ online activities.

SGA Senate condemns racial group on the Facebook:
This is from the U. of Alabama’s student newspaper…
“WP forever,” a group on the Facebook started by Tuscaloosa high school students, and its racial implications were condemned by the SGA Senate yesterday.
“White Power” included statements about lynchings and pictures of the Ku Klux Klan with members given administrative titles such as “chief n—– beater.” Law enforcement officers are currently investigating the group for a hate crime. Students at Tuscaloosa County High School, Northridge High School, Hillcrest High School and Paul W. Bryant High School who were members of the group will be questioned and punished within their school systems.
I haven’t checked but that more than likely is a violation of Facebook’s terms of service.
If any of my readers find this particular Facebook group and drop a message to Facebook I’d be curious to know their response.

Scripps worker charged with seducing 14-year-old via the Internet:
JUPITER A 22-year-old woman was arrested at her Scripps job on Tuesday and charged with sexual assault of a 14-year-old boy she’d met on the Internet at MySpace.com, deputies said.
Colleen N. Grear, of Singer Island, was charged with one count of using a computer to seduce or solicit a child and three counts of sexual assault of a child under age 18, the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office said.
Detectives said Grear contacted the 14-year-old through MySpace.com early in the summer. She met with the child three times, PBSO said.
PBSO also said Grear confessed to having oral sex and intercourse with the boy, who is from northern palm Beach County.
Recently, the boy’s mother discovered what was going on and contacted PBSO.
Grear is a divorced mother of a 2-year-old child. In addition to working at the Scripps lab, she is a student at Florida Atlantic University and is a cheerleading coach at a local high school, PBSO said.
It was not immediately known what Grear does at Scripps at its Jupiter operation.
But since she’s a woman she’ll probably get no time.
I have no access to MySpace right now so if anyone wants to post the link to her’s in the comment section they may. Use BBCode tags for links in the comment.
