NH Bombing Spree

by Trench on August 22nd, 2006

Four Teens Implicated in Bomb Spree:

Enfield — Police say they will charge four teens this week in connection with a series of eight recent pipe bomb explosions in the Upper Valley after authorities discovered some of the suspects had discussed the incidents on a popular Internet site.

Enfield police, in cooperation with a slew of other local agencies, executed a search warrant late Sunday at two homes in Enfield and one home in Orange, N.H., and took away evidence related to the bombings, most of which have targeted mailboxes and portable toilets.

Enfield Police Chief Richard Crate said four local teens would be charged after authorities wrap up their investigation.

Authorities are withholding the names of the suspects, who range in age from 16 to 18, and declined to talk about the possible motive of the suspects.

The investigation gained momentum on Saturday, during a routine traffic stop.

An Enfield police officer pulled over a car with two teens inside and saw a bottle labeled “gunpowder” in the backseat of the car, according to Crate.

Later, when Enfield police officers did an Internet search of the names of the teenagers pulled over in the stop, they discovered the teens had discussed several of the pipe bombings on myspace.com, a popular Web site where teens and young adults post personal information and blog about their daily lives, authorities said.

If Red had his way your ass would be labeled “Red’s Foot”.

Dumbasses.

I’m Brady Jennings’ sister you know. And I’m not lying either. I didn’t know that things related to the incident were being posted on the internet. What kind of website is this? I read your follow up story on this, and you actually searched for my brother’s myspace? I just don’t understand why it all has to be broadcasted. The boys have suffered enough shame, and so have the families. I know I have. So please, just think of what you’re doing when you post this kind of stuff. I’m not saying it’s bad that people can understand what’s going on, but I don’t think it’s right to have these stories being posted where everyone can read them.
